The cast and crew of The Expanse weren’t able to make it to New York Comic Con since they’re currently filming in Toronto, but they released a new behind-the-scenes look for fans teasing things to come in the fourth season.
The new video shows production now underway. There are new looks for the main characters and some new sets, including what looks like Amos’ (Wes Chatham) machine shop.
The show, based on the best-selling book series by James S.A. Corey, aired its first three seasons on SyFy, adapting the first three novels, before SyFy dropped it and Amazon bought it. Season four is expected to cover the fourth book, Cibola Burn, and follow up on the major power shift at the end of season three. The show’s producers have said that characters who are not focused on in the book will appear.
Joining Chatham once again are Steven Strait (Jim Holden), Cas Anvar (Alex Kamal) Dominique Tipper (Naomi Nagata) and Cara Gee (Camina Drummer).
The fourth season of The Expanse is expected to hit Amazon Prime Video in 2019.
