Cute maids and beach volleyball combine in Tanto Cuore: Doki Doki Beach Volleyball, a quick-playing new card game slated for a November release from Japanime Games.

A spin-off of the main Tanto Cuore titles, which combine solid Dominion-esque deckbuilding mechanics with an anime-style maid theme, Doki Doki Beach Volleyball is a 15-minute filler game that sees four of the Tanto Cuore girls hitting the beach for fast-paced volleyball fun.

Designed by Tanto Cuore creator Masayuki Kudou and featuring new art from the series’ illustrators, Doki Doki Beach Volleyball is a two-player card game, with each player picking pair of bikini-clad maids, each of whom has her own unique ability and deck of attack, spike and action cards. Taking turns, the players will then play special actions and make attacks against the opposing team in a bid to win the most sets of a best-of-three match.

Tanto Cuore: Doki Doki Beach Volleyball is currently available for pre-order from Japanime Games’ website, where you can also download a PDF copy of the game’s rules.
