Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag was leaked when someone took a snap of a poster advertising the game. Assassin’s Creed Origins leaked after someone snapped a picture of a t-shirt featuring the game’s protagonist, Bayek. Now, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has leaked after someone spotted a piece of merch sporting the game’s name.
Faced with a multitude of questions and queries, Ubisoft took the sensible move and confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is indeed going to be the next entry in the long-running series.

Aside from that, they’re keeping very quiet on what to expect from the game. The briefest of teaser trailers includes a recreation of King Leonidas kicking a Persian messenger off a cliff ala the movie 300, so we know that Odyssey will be set in Ancient Greece.
The tweet also announces that more information will be revealed at E3 in the next couple of weeks. Will we be seeing a 2018 release date, or will Ubisoft stick with their plan to slow down the Assassin’s Creed release cycle and hold off on the game until 2019? There’s not long until we find out!
