A pair of excellent puzzle games is coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC with the release of the Framed Collection later this month.

Originally released on mobile in 2014 and 2017, Framed and Framed 2 are noir adventures that task you with guiding a silhouetted protagonist to safety from all sorts of potential dangers – ranging from cops to chasms to other peculiar obstacles.

The games are presented in a gorgeous comic book style, with you shifting individual panels around to create the perfect escape route. In one arrangement, for example, going through a red door may send you directly into the path of a policeman. Whereas, if you switch the order, you can end up sneaking behind the copper to knock them out.

It’s a simple idea at first, but one that quickly develops and expands to become a unique and interesting puzzle game well worth trying if you missed it on mobile. Hey, even Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima called the original Framed his game of the year in 2014!

Framed Collection will be available on May 17th for Nintendo Switch and PC.
