Best prepare yourselves. It has been confirmed that CD Projekt will have an RPG on show at E3 later this year – and most of us are expecting it to be Cyberpunk 2077.

In the exhibitor listings for the 2018 convention, CD Projekt RED has listed a role-playing game for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Considering that earlier this year the Twitter account for Cyberpunk 2077 beeped back to life after four years of silence, there’s a good chance this is the game they’ll be bringing to LA.

What else could it be? Well, outside of the odd patch, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is more-or-less completely finished since the release of the Blood and Wine DLC in 2016. A Witcher 4 announcement would be quite a surprise, though we can’t imagine they’ve been working on that in secret for a few years.

All that’s left, then, is Cyberpunk 2077. The game, adapted from the tabletop RPG Cyberpunk 2020, was first announced back in 2012. What we know so far is that it is set in the open world metropolis of Night City, it can be played in first or third-person, and features eight different roles for the player to choose from and customise. Perhaps we’ll know more in two month’s time.

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC hopefully at some point within our lifetimes.
