In what must be one of the greatest and most ridiculous film and video game tie-ins of recent memory, the Predator will be skulking its way into Ghost Recon Wildlands.

The new Jungle Storm update, which launches free tomorrow, adds a selection of Predator themed content to the game to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary. These include a new challenge mission, customisation items and a new PvP class.

The Predator Special Challenge will allow you to take part in the ultimate hunt for the alien menace, where you’ll have to keep an eye out for its cloaking device and be sure not to get caught out by its thermal vision. You can play the challenge solo or in co-op with up to four players until early January.

Successfully take the Predator down and you’ll unlock a number of exclusive items, including the Predator’s mask, which gives you the power of Predator vision. Fifteen additional customisation items are included as well as an exclusive close combat move drawn from the film.

Finally, a new Ghost War class will be added inspired by Arnie’s character “Dutch” opening up new competitive multiplayer strategies with its Battle Rage mode.
