Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XV will be released on PC in early 2018.

After many months of rumours the RPG, originally released on PS4 and Xbox One in 2016, will be making the journey to the desktop.

The PC release will be utilising Nvidia GameWorks in order to deliver “cutting-edge graphics and physics simulation technologies with support for NVIDIA’s capture and share tools.” That’ll include native 4k and 8k resolution support, HDR10 and Dolby Atmos support. It’s going to be a bit of a tech powerhouse!

PC players will gain access to a selection of bonus content already available through the console version’s season pass and you’ll also be able to explore Eos in a new first-person mode to fully appreciate all the visual improvements in the PC version.
