Haunting adventure-puzzler, Little Nightmares, is to unveil a whole new set of dread-inducing scares in a three-part expansion titled Secrets of the Maw.

The DLC will run parallel to the events of the main game and feature a new protagonist called The Runaway Kid. He is also trapped in the same mysterious Maw as the game’s original protagonist, Six, and must search for a way to escape.

The journey will take him through some previously unseen areas from the game across three chapters: The Depths, The Hideway and one final location the developers are keeping quiet about for now. Apparently, it’s in this final location where the fate of The Runaway Kid will be decided…so no pressure there.

If you’re up for more unsettling and eerie spooks then you’ll be able to pick up the expansion pass for £7.99 / $9.99, with chapters planned for release in July, November and January. Tarsier Studios and Namco Bandai have also announced the Little Nightmares Complete Edition, which includes full game and grants access to the Secrets of the Maw episodes as they become available.
