The Alpacas, the multinational indie rock band that we interviewed last year, have announced the release of their much-anticipated debut album Pictures Of You.

Focusing on their meaningful lyrics, the album has 10 tracks including their first single “Pictures Of You” and their new single “These Train Tracks”. In the spirit of their multi-national origins, some of the songs were also recorded in four cities around the world.

Pictures Of You will be released on 4 March, physical copies of the album will be available from their website that day and digitally on iTunes and Spotify from 5 March. The band is made up of guitarist and lead singer Andrei Ionescu, guitarist Adam Leaver, bass guitarist Koichi Shoji, drummer Jon Scott, keyboardist Misato Takeda and violinist Juri Uchishiba.

The Alpacas will also be doing an album release show on 4 March to celebrate the album’s release. The gig will take place Upstairs at the Castle in Central London, the event is free and tickets can be reserved here, CDs will also be available to buy for £10.
