Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be released in the West next year.
In a special message to celebrate the announcement, Dragon Quest series creator, Yuji Horii, gives an overview of the game and some insight into localising the RPG on the eve of its release in Japan.
At the risk of sounding overly generic, the latest entry in the Dragon Quest series will send your hero on an adventure to solve “the mystery of his fate”. You’ll be joined by a cast of weird and wonderful characters on the journey, all of whom have been designed by Akira Toriyama.
Yep, it definitely all sounds like a new Dragon Quest game! More details on the Western release are expected to be revealed this Autumn.
