3. Amanoiwato Hime (2009)
For three rookie military officers – Haru, Natsuki and Touma – it’s the highest of honours to be tasked with protecting the ruling monarch’s only daughter from harm. Full of high expectations, the three rejoice at this unexpected mission and make haste to meet the princess. However, not all is as it seems, as their lieutenant keeps tight-lipped on details about their charge and they soon discover she is rather different than they expected. With plenty of slapstick comedy and fun plot twists, this series is an entertaining princess guardian comedy.
