6. Yellow Dragon Ga Arawareta (2009)
This adventure series is similar to popular shonen titles such as Fairy Tail and One Piece. Packed full of humour, the series follows wayward genius Enji, who discovers how to summon and control the dreaded Yellow Dragon. By yielding its power he hopes to gain worldwide fame, respect and at long last the affections of his beloved Moegi-san. However, a spanner is thrown into the works when the dragon egg cracks open and out walks a little girl. Baffled, Enji frets his dreams have been dashed. However the unlikely Yellow Dragon could yet salvage them.
