The Pokémon Company has announced that they have relaunched their Pokémon TV app, redesigned with a new user interface and features, so you can enjoy more animated Pokémon goodness.

“We are excited to deliver a fully reimagined Pokémon TV experience that allows fans to effortlessly discover and enjoy Ash and Pikachu’s adventures,” said J.C. Smith, the senior director of consumer marketing at The Pokémon Company International. “We are committed to making Pokémon TV a premier destination for Pokémon animation and look forward to adding more content that will provide an engaging entertainment experience for our fans.”

To celebrate the relaunch, fans can view the latest animated Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, which is available for a limited time on the app.

The new features include:

  • Full Seasons Offer Uninterrupted Viewing: You can now watch every episode from Pokémon the Series: Indigo League, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures, Pokémon Generations, and Pokémon Origins on Pokémon TV. They also plan to release certain archived seasons and all upcoming seasons of Pokémon the Series in the future.
  • Ability to Download Unlimited Episodes and Movies: If there are particular episodes or Pokémon movies that you absolutely love, then you’ll now be able to download and store an unlimited number of episodes and movies on your device for offline viewing. Once downloaded, it will be available to view for up to seven days. But there’s nothing to stop you from re-downloading it again.
  • Seamless Watching Across Multiple Devices: Had to stop halfway during an episode or movie? If you sign into the app with a Pokémon Trainer Club account, then you can pick up where you left off, even on another compatible device.

The latest version of Pokémon TV can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play.

The app will also be coming to Pokemon.com, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and select smart TVs in the future.
