Crunchyroll has unveiled three more series for its Winter 2019 anime season, with Pastel Memories, How clumsy you are, Miss Ueno and BanG Dream! Season 2 becoming the latest shows to join the streaming service’s line-up.

Debuting its first four episodes later today, Pastel Memories opens with Tokyo’s famously geeky Akihabara district in decline thanks to a mysterious malady that’s wiping people’s manga memories – can high school heroine Izumi and her friends at the Rabbit Shed Shop café restore the otaku paradise to its former glory? Adapted from a mobile JRPG by animation studio Project No.9, the 12-episode series is directed by Yasuyuki Shinozaki.

On the plus side for How clumsy you are, Miss Ueno’s titular ginger-haired protagonist, she’s a genius inventor and the president of her junior high school’s science club. On the minus side, poor Ueno can’t figure out how to confess to her crush Tanaka. With five 15-minute-long episodes already up on Crunchyroll, studio Lesprit’s How clumsy you are, Miss Ueno adapts Tugeneko’s comedy manga and is directed by Tomohiro Yamanashi.

Yet to acquire a Crunchyroll release date, BanG Dream! heads into its sequel series with a new animation studio at the helm, with Sanzigen (Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life, Arpeggio of Blue Steel) taking over from Issen and Xebec. Continuing the musical adventures of Kasumi Toyama and the schoolgirl stars of Poppin’ Party, the anime incarnation of Bushiroad’s multi-media project is helmed by Katana Maidens’ Kōdai Kakimoto.
