At the start of the year, Atlus USA revealed that Catherine: Full Body would be coming to the west this year, they just didn’t say when exactly that would be. The release of a new Fine Wine trailer has offered the release date of 3 September 2019 for the US and Europe.

Catherine: Full Body is a remastered version of their provocative puzzle game, Catherine, which was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2011. Players take control of Vincent Brooks, who starts having dreams where he must climb towers of blocks. In the real world, he’s racked with guilt after cheating on his girlfriend Katherine with the young blonde Catherine.

The new Full Body version includes another character involved in Vincent’s life, a pink-haired pianist at the Stray Sheep club named Rin. Other additions include new episodes, puzzles, cut scenes and endings.

The game was released in Japan on 14 February 2019 and some of the new secrets have already been leaked (which aren’t that hard to find if you want to spoil yourself).

The latest trailer reveals that players in the US and Europe have the option of dual audio, so you can play with the English dub or with the original Japanese language. The English dub features the return of Troy Baker as Vincent, Laura Bailey as Catherine and Michelle Ruff as Katherine. It also introduces Brianna Knickerbocker as Rin.

There will also be a Launch Edition and Heart’s Desire Premium Edition of the game available for the US.

The Launch Edition retails for $59.99 and includes the game in a steelbook case that features Rin, Catherine, and Katherine.

The Heart’s Desire Premium Edition retails for $79.99 and comes in a collector’s box that includes the game with the same steelbook case, a 5” Sheep plush wearing pink polka dot boxers, a soundtrack CD and a hardcover art book with illustrations by lead designer Shigenori Soejima.

According to the game’s official website, these editions will be available in Europe too.

Atlus’ Studio Zero also revealed on Twitter that a Catherine manga is on the way and can be read via Japan’s Manga Jam app from 14 March 2019. There were no details on if it would be a straight adaptation or a continuation of the game’s story.
