Capcom wants your thoughts on the Resident Evil 2 remake

If you’ve played through Resident Evil 2 and have some thoughts about the game that you don’t mind sharing, then Capcom would like your feedback.

Capcom posted on Twitter a link to a survey, asking various questions about you as a gamer (age, gender, which consoles you own), but they also want to know your history with the Resident Evil franchise.

As for the Resident Evil 2 remake, questions range from how long you’ve spent playing the game, as well as your favourite and least favourite parts. They also want you to score certain aspects a mark out of five (such as the gore, the story, the fear factor and its faithfulness to the Resident Evil series). After giving the game an overall mark out of ten you can leave a short comment, so you can let Capcom know just how much the game scared you, or you can give them another remake suggestion (no more than 250 characters).

The survey is so Capcom can “understand more about their customers and potential customers” and to help “improve the user experience for future titles.” The part about “future titles” suggests that they might take the feedback onboard for a potential remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, or Resident Evil 8.

If you’re interested, the link to the survey is here.
