The plane-spanning metropolis of Ravnica is the subject of the latest volume in the Art Of Magic: The Gathering series, released in the UK next week. Published on 24 January by VIZ Media imprint Perfect Square, The Art Of Magic: The Gathering – Ravnica is a 240-page hardcover book showcasing the illustrations and lore for the CCGs sprawling cityscape, the setting of last year’s Guilds of Ravnica and the soon-to-be released Ravnica Allegiance set.

Published in the US on New Year’s Day but only now making it across the pond, the chunky new tome is a great resource if you want to discover more about the greatest city in the Multiverse and its perpetually-competing guilds. The book features a lavish selection of Ravnica-inspired artwork drawn from Magic: The Gathering’s cards, accompanied by a guide to the setting penned by MTG senior designer and D&D veteran James Wyatt.

The Art Of Magic: The Gathering – Ravnica is the seventh book in the VIZ Media series, whose previous entries have covered the fantasy realms of Kaladesh, Amonkhet, Innistrad, Zendikar, Dominaria and Ixalan. The book is available to pre-order from stores such as Amazon, Waterstones and Forbidden Planet.
