Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, Bloomsbury is giving you the chance to show your house pride with its upcoming House Editions of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Available in hardback and paperback, the new editions will launch on 13 June in time to mark the 20th anniversary of the first publication of J.K. Rowling’s much-loved novel.

Illustrated by Levi Pinfold, the front covers of the Hogwarts house-themed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will all feature the black dog animagus of Sirius Black as a central image, surrounded by Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff-specific pictures to celebrate your favourite house. The hardbacks will be black with the house crest in a house colour and striped sprayed edges, while the paperbacks reverse the house colour theme and have single colour sprayed edges. Pre-orders of the hardback edition from the UK and Ireland will also come with an exclusive pin badge.

First published on 8 July 1999, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the third Harry Potter novel and the one that first introduced the terrifying Dementors to readers, along with the powerful Patronus Charm that defeated them. Bloomsbury has already published special House Editions for the books two predecessors – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – and the publisher says that it plans to do the same for the remaining four novels.
