A new teaser trailer has been released for upcoming Studio Trigger and XFLAG movie Promare, along with voice cast details and a May 2019 release date. Directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by Kazuki Nakashima, who previously worked together on the critically-acclaimed Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, the stylish-looking Promare sees a team of mecha–using firefighters battling the flame-wielding mutants of Mad Burnish.

A rookie member of the Burning Rescue fire service, protagonist and Kamina lookalike Galo Thymos is voiced by Kenichi Matsuyama, best known for playing L in the live action Death Note films. Other members of the team include Aina Ardebit (Ayane Sakura), Remi Puguna (Hiroyuki Yoshino), Varys Truss (Tetsu Inada), Ignis Ex (Rikiya Koyama) and pint-sized mechanic Lucia Fex (Mayumi Shintani), while Lio Fotia (Taichi Saotome) heads up Mad Burnish.
