Monster Hunter World and Assassin’s Creed collaboration announced

Capcom has announced that Assassin’s Creed will be the latest game series to pop up in Monster Hunter World when a new collaboration event goes live soon.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Final Fantasy XIV, a new event quest will be added to the game for all players that will task you with defeating a set number of monsters in order to earn the Senu’s Feather item. The monsters in question are Odogoron, Deviljho and Lunastra – all three of which you’ll face in an arena.

With the feathers you obtain you’ll be able to trade them for two pieces of gear, both of which you can see in the trailer above. They are the Bayek Layered Armor (recognisable from Assassin’s Creed Origins) and the Assassin’s Hood (a long-standing iconic item from the series).

You’ll only have a short time to undertake the quest so make sure you jump into Monster Hunter World soon if either of the items are of interest.

Later on this year, Capcom will introduce a collaboration with The Witcher series to the creature killing RPG. This will be a bit more in-depth than the Assassin’s Creed event, allowing you to play as Geralt of Rivia and take on a number of “Witcher-themed quests”.

There’s also the Monster Hunter World expansion entitled Iceborne coming in late 2019 too!
