A Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition will be released for the Nintendo Switch this spring, UK games publisher PQube has announced. The 2D fighting game franchise’s upcoming Switch edition will feature the original Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R in one box, although digital versions of the two games will also be available separately. PQube adds that Guilty Gear will also be available digitally on the PS4.

Debuting on the PlayStation in 1998, Arc System Works’ cult classic Guilty Gear is known for its 2D graphics, fast gameplay and colourful roster of Daisuke Ishiwatari-designed characters. Meanwhile, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is the fifth and final version of Guilty Gear X2, hitting arcades in 2012 followed by a console release a year later.
