Square Enix has announced that both Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will be available on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this April.

After revealing that both titles would be coming to the Microsoft and Nintendo consoles for the first time back in 2018, the Japanese developer and publisher has confirmed that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be released on April 16, while Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will launch on April 30.

Originally made available back in 2014 on PS4 and Vita, the update to Final Fantasy X and X-2 has slowly made its way to practically every console imaginable. Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, meanwhile, popped up on the PS4 in 2017 and then came to PC a year later bringing the International Zodiac Job System version of the game to players outside of Japan for the first time.

Both titles on the Xbox One and Switch are exactly the same as their previously released counterparts, adding new features, improved graphics, updated music and other modern touches where applicable.

Both games seem like a perfect fit for the Switch especially as games you can slowly chip away on while on the go. They add to the already expansive library of RPGs on the device such as Octopath Traveller and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
