Here’s another massive game that you’ll be able to lose hours to on the move as Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 23.

The Switch version of the action RPG will be identical to the PS3 and Xbox 360 release from way back in 2013. It’ll also contain all of the DLC previously released across those versions and other newer remasters.

In terms of actual improvements or changes, Switch players can expect a revamped user interface that better suits Nintendo’s hybrid console. It could be quite a cluttered UI at times, so having that figured out – especially when playing in handheld mode – will be a huge positive for the game.

If Dragon’s Dogma has passed you by so far, it was a vast and ambitious RPG from Capcom that drew inspiration from the likes of Western RPGs such as The Elder Scrolls and Fable series. A major part of the game was the AI-controlled ‘Pawns’ that joined your party to fight alongside you. Other players could customise these Pawns and make them available to enter your games, which was a neat little system overall.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch on April 23.
