Koei Tecmo has announced that the release date for upcoming fighter Dead or Alive 6 has been pushed back to March 1.
The reason given for the game’s two-week delay was so that developer Team Ninja can “take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity,” according to a statement from Dead or Alive 6 producer and director, Yohei Shimbori.
“In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best Dead or Alive gaming experience. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of Dead or Alive 6,” he continued.
In other Dead or Alive related news, it was revealed yesterday that Leifang has been added to the roster of fan service-heavy spin-off Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet.
Dead or Alive 6 is scheduled for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 1.
