There’s a trio of Manga Entertainment titles out this week, with post-apocalypse steampunk series Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress; Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! movie Take On Me and the final instalment of Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters all making their debut today.

Made by Wit Studio of Attack on Titan fame, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is set in an alternate industrial revolution where the world has been overrun by ‘Kabane’; flesh-eating undead known as ‘Kabane’ who can only be killed by destroying their steel-coated hearts. This series centres on one of the few places still holding out against the zombie hordes – the heavily-defended fortress island of Hinomoto. Directed by Attack on Titan helmer Tetsurō Araki and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi (Code Geass, Devilman Crybaby), Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is released as a DVD/Blu-ray Combo.

Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! Take On Me is the feature-length conclusion of Kyoto Animation’s romcom about overly-imaginative high schooler Rikka and her boyfriend Yūta, who’s still trying to live down pretending to be the ‘Dark Flame Master’ in junior school. Set during Rikka and Yūta’s third year, the Tatsuya Ishihara-helmed film opens with Tōka making plans to bring her delusional lil’ sis over to Italy to live with her. Fearing that they will be separated forever, the young couple instead decide to go on the run together…

Last up this week is Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters – Part 3, which brings Toei Animation’s retelling of the original Dragon Ball Z story to a close with episodes 145-167 of the show. With their efforts to stop Super Buu proving futile, the Z Fighters have only one hope against this seemingly-invincible foe – the fusion technique. But will even the combined power of two Saiyan warriors be enough to stop Super Buu once and for all?
