“Raise the hype to maximum, Lieutenant!”

CBS is certainly ramping things up before the season two premiere in Janaury. We had a new teaser just two weeks ago, it was the penultimate Short Trek last week and then we get the final Short Trek on 3rd January next year.

And now we have a new, full-length trailer for season 2.

We see much more of Spock and a bit more explanation of the “red angel” phenomena. It seems that Section 31 might be involved somehow with this “red angel” too. L’Rell is in action, which is great to see and Ash TylerVoq warns about Section 31’s involvement. And of course there’s Emperor Georgiou relishing her new role at Starfleet.

This is exciting stuff folks.

The second season of Star Trek: Discovery will comprise of – now 14 –  episodes with no mid-season break. It will premiere on Thursday, 17th January, next year, in the US and Canada and in the rest of the world on Friday, 18th January, 2019.

Short Treks is being shown in the US on CBS All Access. In Canada they’re available on Space and CraveTV as well as the Snackable TV app. Sadly however, fans in the UK will miss out as there’s no plans for Netflix to show them as yet. The first season of Star Trek: Discovery is available to stream on CBS All Access in the US and Netflix in the UK. The Star Trek: Discovery season one Blu-ray and DVD is available now, so hurry to ensure delivery before Christmas.
