Animated film festival Scotland Loves Anime is making a flying visit to Aberdeen this weekend. The festival, which ran in Glasgow and Edinburgh back in October, will be screening a quartet of titles at the city’s Belmont Filmhouse, including hot new My Hero Academia movie Two Heroes.
Aberdeen’s weekend of anime gets underway on Saturday 8 December with a 14:30 screening for Hiroyasu Ishida’s debut feature, charming fantasy Penguin Highway, followed by superhero adventure My Hero Academia: Two Heroes at 20:45. Meanwhile, Sunday brings another pair of screenings, with Yoshiaki Kawajiri’s 1990 cult classic Cyber City Oedo 808 showing at 17:00 and Ufotable fantasy film Fate/stay Night: Heaven’s Feel Movie 1: Presage Flower showing at 19:45.
