My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is to get a home video release on 8 April 2019, UK anime distributor Manga Entertainment today announced. The debut film from Studio Bones’ hit superhero franchise is now available to pre-order as a limited edition Blu-ray steelbook, as well as on standard DVD and Blu-ray.

Directed by regular series helmer Kenji Nagasaki, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes hit UK and Irish cinemas earlier this month, becoming Manga’s biggest theatrical release to date. Set between the second and third seasons of the anime, the movie follows Deku and All Might to futuristic I-Island, host of the world’s leading exhibition of Quirk abilities and hero item innovations. However, some of their fellow visitors have much more sinister motives for travelling to the island! Find out what we thought of the film here.

In other Manga Entertainment release news, the distributor has announced that stylish Franco-Japanese action movie MFKZ and Wit Studio dark fantasy series The Ancient Magus’ Bride will now both be hitting home video on 1 April 2019.
