The first English-subbed promo video has been released for the highly-anticipated sequel season of One-Punch Man, set to return to the small screen in April. Adapting a webcomic by pseudonymous manga writer/artist ONE, action comedy One-Punch Man chronicles the adventures of part-time superhero Saitama, whose totally OP punch instantly vanquishes any villain unlucky enough to get in its way – much to the bored Saitama’s chagrin.

One-Punch Man Season 2 sees animation studio J.C. Staff take over production from Madhouse, with Chikara Sakurai (Magimoji Rurumo) replacing Shingo Natsume in the director’s chair. However, the show’s main voice cast remains intact, with Makoto Furukawa returning as Saitama and Kaito Ishikawa as his cyborg sidekick Genos. The cult fave series also retains the same writer in Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept., Boogiepop and Others).
