More than 10 new titles to be announced at The Game Awards next week

The Game Awards is a peculiar hybrid show that mixes an awards ceremony with a giant press conference for publishers and developers to announce their upcoming games. This year’s event looks set to be no different, as it’s been confirmed that over 10 new titles will be revealed for the first time at The Game Awards on December 6.

Taking to Twitter, the host and key organiser of The Game Awards, long-time video games journalist Geoff Keighley wrote, “We have such an incredible show coming together for next week. More than 10 new games will be announced for the first time during #TheGameAwards plus updates on existing titles too. We will share some teases in the days to come…”

Just what could that be, though? Well, rumours have resurfaced once again of a Superman game from Arkham series creators, Rocksteady. VG247 writes that the title Superman: World’s Finest has popped up on the Game System Requirements website. That’s not the first we’ve heard of such a name too, as it cropped up earlier in June too prior to E3.

Everything else remains a mystery for now, but previous years have had big announcements for the likes of Death Stranding, Bayonetta 3 and Breath of the Wild. Some more major titles could be making their way to the show this year too!

You can tune in to The Game Awards on December 6.
