After Chris Evans posted in October that he had officially wrapped on Avengers 4 (not giving anything away about the outcome of his character), some have been speculating on who might fill the shoes of Captain America.

Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow / Crossbones in The Winter Soldier and Civil War) also mentioned during an interview with Larry King that there are rumours the next Captain America “could be an African American, it could be a woman.” Over the weekend, John Cena posted the following image on his Instagram page, leading some to believe that he might be involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Either Cena wants to put it out there that he’s interested in taking on the role, or this is just his way of saying something ahead of the midterm elections.

Earlier in the year, artist BossLogic imagined what Cena would look like in the role of Duke Nukem. Now he has taken to Instagram to share his interpretation of what Cena would look like in the uniform.
