Japanese craft book Make Animals: Felt Arts From Japan will be heading West this November, publisher Viz Media has announced. Following Amigurumi: San-X Crochet Patterns and Pompom Pokémon as the third title in Viz’s new line of crafting guides, Make Animals: Felt Arts From Japan showcases an array of life-like animals made by YOSHiNOBU, one of Japan’s top felting artists, along with step-by-step instructions on how to craft them yourself.
“Make Animals: Felt Arts From Japan offers a detailed, how-to journey through the amazing world of needle felting,” said Viz Media’s Masumi Washington. “The book also features scores of photos of YOSHiNOBU’s animals depicted in a variety of natural and pastoral settings. We invite craft fans to discover fresh and creative inspirations with this new release.”
The 120-page paperback will be released in the US on 13 November, while a digital version will be available from viz.com as well as on the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks and Google Play stores.
