Rather excellent military strategy RPG Valkyria Chronicles is available to purchase from today for Nintendo Switch on the eShop, SEGA has announced.

Having originally released on the PS3 back in 2008, Valkyria Chronicles has since gone on to be released for PC and PS4, before eventually making its way to Nintendo’s latest console.

Set during an alternate version of the World War 2 conflict, Valkyria Chronicles follows the story of Welkin, Alicia and their comrades as they attempt to repel an invasion from the East Europan Imperial Alliance. That’ll have you partake in a number of tactical turn-based military skirmishes, while also taking the time to develop your squad and their specialities over time.

This version of the compelling RPG includes all previously released DLC as standard, plus if you own Valkyria Chronicles 4 on the Nintendo eShop you’ll also be able to pick up the original for 25% off.
