Square Enix has announced that its survival action shooter Left Alive will be released for PS4 and PC on March 5, 2019.

Brought to us by devs with experience working on Armored Core, Metal Gear Solid and Ghost in the Shell: Arise, the game follows three characters struggling to survive in the war-torn nation of Novo Slava in 2127.

Left Alive mixes together both stealth and action gameplay as you can undertake frenetic gun battles or try to outsmart your foes. Going by the final few moments in the latest trailer, it looks like you can go on a tear in a mech if you want too as well!

Along with the release date announcement, Square Enix has also put pre-orders for the game live. Commit to purchasing Left Alive now on PS4 or PC and you’ll get the Day One Edition, which includes the base game, the Ammo Pack DLC, the Light Body Armor DLC and the Recovery Pack DLC.

In addition to that, PS4 pre-order get a Static Theme, Slava Weapon and Material Pack, while PC pre-orders come with a Wallpaper Set, Soundtrack Sampler and Padub Weapon.

There is also a Mech Edition available in limited quantities from the Square Enix Online Store. That comes with a VOLK action figure, 80-page hardback artbook and SteelBook case. That’ll be £139.99 / €159.99 if you want it.

Left Alive will be released for PS4 and PC on March 5th.
