Rockstar has released the second gameplay video for its upcoming open-world western sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, giving us a more in-depth look at the sort of benevolent and nefarious activities you’ll be able to get up to as outlaw Arthur Morgan.

Once again, the trailer places a big emphasis on the spontaneity of the world, as Morgan stumbles into all sorts of weird or perilous situations. Adventuring alone he may come across a brave group of robbers who want to take him out, or maybe it’ll be two convicts scrapping in a field. According to Rockstar, how you approach these situations can change the way other characters in the world see Arthur.

Outside of all the expected bank robberies, train robberies and store robberies (yes, there’s a lot to rob in Red Dead 2), you can also spend your time with all sorts of mini-games. Blackjack, Dominoes and Five Finger Filet (that mad game where you try not to stab yourself in the fingers with a knife) all make an appearance in the trailer. You can even chill out and take in a show if you’re so inclined.

So, yeah, looks like there’s going to be a hell of a lot to get up to in Red Dead Redemption 2. The dynamic nature of a lot of these encounters looks absolutely fascinating too, which should make for one vast and responsive open-world game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled for release on October 26 for PS4 and Xbox One.
