Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us will be getting a big screen release in the UK and Ireland next month, distributors CinEvents and Fathom Events have announced.

The sequel to last year’s reboot film I Choose You!, The Power of Us will be shown in more than 300 cinemas, with screenings on 24 November and 1 December, plus additional screenings in certain venues until 3 December.

Attendees at selected screenings across the UK and Ireland will also be able to pick up a free sample pack of the Pokémon TCG, featuring three random trading cards.

The 21st film in the long-running Pokémon franchise, The Power of Us sees Ash and Pikachu head to the seaside town of Fula City, where a festival celebrating the legendary Pokémon Lugia is held each year. When the festival’s livelihood is put at risk, our heroes must team up with friends old and new to save the day.
