Last weekend’s MCM London Comic Con saw UK anime distributor MVM Entertainment announce a host of 2019 titles, with Made In Abyss, Cells At Work!, Princess Principal and the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel films among the newly-revealed acquisitions.

Six of MVM’s upcoming series have also garnered release dates following Comic Con, with a collector’s edition of dark fantasy Made In Abyss slated for 28 January; a collector’s edition of steampunk spy story Princess Principal for 18 February; J.C.Staff mystery show Vatican Miracle Examiner for 25 February; relationship drama Scum’s Wish for 11 March and Season 1 of boys’ idol group show STARMYU for 18 March, while the second season of fantasy adventure The Heroic Legend Of Arslan is due out on 25 March.

As yet without a release date are two films in Ufotable’s planned Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel trilogy – last year’s Presage Flower and Lost Butterfly, which premieres in Japan on 12 January. Also set to make their UK debut in 2019 via MVM are microscopic comedy Cells At Work!; fanservice-heavy fantasy Seven Mortal Sins; superpowered sci-fi show Sagrada Reset; sword-swinging videogame adaptation Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu and A-1 Pictures’ fantasy actioner Record of Grancrest War.
