While the Legendary Pokémon distribution event is still continuing throughout the year, The Pokémon Company has announced details on how to add the mythical Pokémon Zeraora to your copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.

Initially revealed back in April, Zeraora is described as the Thunderclap Pokémon, an Electric-type that is 4’11” in height and weighs 98.1lbs. Zeraora gathers and stores electric energy from outside sources. It can emit strong electrical currents from the paw-pads on its hands and feet to create a powerful magnetic field, which it can also use to levitate and move through the air as fast as a lightning strike. Its signature move is Plasma Fist.

For those of you in the UK, if you want to get your hands on Zeraora, you’ll have to visit your local participating GAME store from 1 October 2018 to 15 November 2018. Ask for a unique code that will unlock Zeraora in your game.

Upon receiving your code, load up your copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon on your 3DS and select “Mystery Gift” on the main menu. Select “Receive Gift” and then select “Get with Code/Password” (make sure you’re connected online). Enter your code and savour the special moment as you receive your Zeraora. Then speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Zeraora. Just make sure you save your game afterwards.

The mythical Pokemon will come with the move Plasma Fists (which you can see in action in the video below), Thunder Punch, Close Combat and Thunder. It is also holding an Air Balloon, which makes it immune to Ground-type moves.

Zeraora also makes its debut in the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sun & Moon expansion, Lost Thunder., available from 2 November 2018.
