The Shield’s Michael Chiklis, Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Espositio, Machete’s Danny Trejo and Wu Tang’s RZA are among the stars lending their voices to the English dub of Franco-Japanese animated film MFKZ, distributor Manga Entertainment today announced.

Also joining the cast of MFKZ, whose upcoming UK cinema release we reported earlier this week, are Dascha Polanco (Orange is the New Black, Joy), Jorge Gutierrez (The Book of Life, Son of Jaguar) and West Coast rapper Vince Staples. Manga UK also unveiled a new English language teaser trailer and poster for the movie, which premieres on 11 October.

Released internationally as ‘Mutafukaz’, urban actioner MFKZ centres on young Angelino, a resident of dystopian, gang-ridden Dark Meat City who begins to see monstrous forms prowling the mean streets of his hometown following a scooter accident. The comic book adaptation is a collaboration between Japan’s Studio 4°C and France’s Ankama Animation.
