Ok, I think we’re at the point now where we can definitely say that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released in 2019. No more delays. It’s coming. As if to remind us of that fact once again, Square Enix released a new trailer featuring the world inspired by Big Hero 6.

What we get to see in the near four-minute trailer is an extended look at how the Disney superhero flick has been brought into the JRPG mashup. There are calm cutscenes, some flashy combat and a bit that looks like Superman 64 as Sora must fly through rings while descending into the city. We hope the latter doesn’t appear too regularly.

The trailer then gives us a look at other various aspects of Kingdom Hearts 3. Some of the game’s other worlds are introduced, including Pirates of the Carribean, Tangled and Frozen.

There are also some hints at the wider Kingdom Hearts story, as familiar faces from across the series pop up to say some vaguely aloof things. Nothing’s changed there, it seems.

Square Enix has also released the box art for the game, which we’ve been starting at agog ever since we first laid eyes on it. It is gorgeous and we want a giant poster version to hang on every wall of our house, please.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on January 25.
