Crunchyroll is to simulcast upcoming horror anime Zombieland Saga while Funimation provides the English-dubbed version, the two streaming services have announced.

A collaboration between Cygames, Avex Pictures and Yuri on Ice animation studio MAPPA, Zombieland Saga is set to premiere in Japan on Thursday 4 October, and will be available to Crunchyroll members worldwide except for Asia.

The anime original show is directed by Sailor Moon Crystal’s Munehisa Sakai, and stars Mamoru Miyano (Death Note) as Kōtarō Tatsumi and Kaede Hondo (Girlish Number) as Sakura Minamoto. Other cast members include Food Wars’ Risa Taneda, Asami Tano, Maki Kawase, Rika Kinugawa, Minami Tanaka and Yasuhiro Takato as cute undead doggo Romero.
