We’ve already seen what’s bundled inside the North American Collector’s Edition for the Resident Evil 2 remake. However, in Japan, Capcom is releasing a unique exclusive that just might surpass any other item they’ve bundled with the survival horror game; a keyboard inspired by the in-game Lexington typewriter that’s used to save your progress.

As reported by Siliconera, the keyboard is a collaboration with Qwerkytoys and sees their Qwerkywriter S keyboard given a Resident Evil makeover, featuring the Lexington logo and Umbrella Corporation logo. The keyboard features wireless Bluetooth connectivity (it can be connected to multiple wireless devices at the same time), a wired USB mode with NKRO support and dual scroll knob encoders (so you can control the volume and use the mouse scroll).

The keyboard weighs 1.5 kilograms and measures 394mm (w) x 235mm (d) x 89mm (h).

It can be pre-ordered at Capcom’s e-shop as one of the items bundled in Resident Evil 2‘s Premium Edition (along with the game, a 12-inch figure of Leon S Kennedy, the soundtrack and an art book) for ¥107,784 (around £761 / $972). You can also find it with the game’s Limited Edition (which includes the game and ink ribbon masking tape) for ¥89,424 (around £632 / $807). Or it can be purchased separately for ¥81,000 (around £572 / $730).

The Resident Evil 2 remake is released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on 25 January 2019.
