New Mamoru Hosoda movie Mirai will open on 100 screens across the UK and Ireland this November, distributor Anime Limited announced today. The film, which launched in Japanese theatres last week, will receive subtitled screenings on 2 November and English-dubbed screenings on 4 November.

The latest film from the acclaimed director of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars and Wolf Children, fantasy adventure Mirai sees spoiled little boy Kun (Moka Kamishiraishi) meet Mirai (Haru Kuroki), his now-not-so-little sister who journeys back from the future to take him on a time-travelling trip to meet his mum as a little girl and his great-granddad as a young man.
