It was reported back in February that Kotobukiya and Hasbro had collaborated to release a new line of bishoujo figures of the original six ponies from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. With the characters reimagined as anime girls, Kotobukiya initially only released an illustration of Pinke Pie by artist Shunya Yamashita. Now they have revealed illustrations of Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy along with a projected release for each figure.

The new illustrations were unveiled by Kotobukiya’s English language Twitter and Facebook pages.

The second pony is Twilight Sparkle. The anime version is wearing spectacles and holding her Elements of Harmony book. Her skirt and her shoes also carry her cutie mark – a six-pointed star along with smaller stars. It is set to be released in autumn 2019.

The third pony is Fluttershy. The anime version is wearing a turquoise dress. Her cutie mark is three butterflies, and butterflies are prominent throughout her attire. Not only is it featured on her dress, but she is wearing a butterfly hairpin, a butterfly necklace, her belt buckle is a butterfly and she is wearing butterfly shoes. It is set to be released in winter 2019.

As well as releasing the same illustration of Pinkie Pie (this time with the words “available in May 2019”), Kotobukiya also revealed an image of the sculpt, which will be on display at their booth at San Diego Comic Con.

Given the projected release of the three figures so far, this would suggest that Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity will follow in 2020.
