Anime movie Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms is to receive addition screenings in selected cinemas starting this Wednesday, UK distributor Anime Limited has announced.

Originally slated to make a one-night-only appearance in theatres, Mari Okada’s critically-acclaimed fantasy drama will now be screening at Showcase Cinemas in Bristol, Leeds, Nottingham and Southampton on Wednesday 4 July, as well as at The Mockingbird Cinema in Birmingham on Friday 27 July. In addition, Ashford and Crawley Cineworlds will be showing the P.A.Works movie this Wednesday after technical issues struck screenings at both venues last week.
