Appearing on both Saturday and Sunday at Manchester Central, Wong is currently best known for playing the character of Wong in the 2016 film Doctor Strange and this year’s comic-book extravaganza Avengers: Infinity War.

Outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe he has portrayed Kublai Khan in Netflix’s epic TV drama Marco Polo, Bruce Ng in The Martian and appeared as the scientist Lomax in the 2018 science fiction horror film Annihilation.

Wong also appeared in the Ridley Scott Alien prequel Prometheus as ship’s pilot Ravel, helped pilot another vessel on a flight of fancy in the Impossible Planet episode of Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams and starred in 2036: Nexus Dawn, a promotional short set before Blade Runner 2049 that co-starred Jared Leto.

MCM Manchester takes place on 28-29 July 2018. Tickets for the show are available here.
