American actor, voice artist and singer Zach Callison, who voices the hero of Cartoon Network hit Steven Universe, is set to make his debut appearance at MCM Scotland when the pop culture show returns to SEC Glasgow in September.

Critically-acclaimed animated series Steven Universe follows its central character’s adventures as the youngest of the Crystal Gems, a team of magical superheroes dedicated to defending humanity. Brave, optimistic and kinda dorky, Collison’s Steven is a caring and friendly teenage kid who tries to avoid using violence whenever possible despite possessing powerful special abilities.

In addition to his award-winning role as Steven Universe, Zach Callison has also appeared as Prince James in Disney animation Sofia the First; King Tut in DreamWorks’ Mr. Peabody & Sherman; Chuck in Amazon’s Just Add Magic; Billy in teen sitcom I’m in the Band and Young Jiro in Hayao Miyazaki movie The Wind Rises. Los Angeles-based Callison’s other credits include The Goldbergs, NCIS: Los Angeles, iCarly and The Legend of Korra.
