Sega took to Twitter to reveal the release date for Valkyria Chronicles 4 in the US and Europe, as well as pre-order bonuses for fans.

Taking place during the same timeframe of the original Valkyria Chronicles, the fourth instalment focuses on a new cast of characters: Squad E. Led by Commander Claude Wallace, he and his team attempt to stop the Imperial army from dominating the Eastern Theater.

Sega’s strategy RPG will be released in the US and Europe on 25 September 2018. For fans in the US, the first run copies of the game (called the Launch Edition) will include an exclusive controller skin of medic dog Ragnarok.

For those across Europe, the Launch Edition will come with a sticker of Ragnarok.

If you really want to get your money’s worth, then you might want to opt for the Premium Edition that was revealed in the E3 trailer. The Premium Edition comes with an exclusive vinyl statue of the Hafen Tank, an exclusive 100-page artbook (inspired by Claude’s journal in-game) and two DLC side missions featuring Squad 7 from the original Valkyria Chronicles – A United Front with Squad 7 and Edy’s Advance Ops.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
