It was evident at CinemaCon that this was no ordinary Predator movie and it appears like Shane Black has delivered. This is after all, the kind of movie he was born to direct…and he has a special relationship with the franchise, being the first person to be killed on screen by a Predator, in the epic, original movie.

We haven’t seen anything since the first teaser, which dropped a month ago, but a new TV spot aired during an NBA Finals game last night, below. Most of these scenes we’ve…er, seen before. But we do get to see two predators, which is new.

Boyd Holbrook stars, along with Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Yvonne Strahovski. Shane Black wrote and directed.

The Predator is due to open in cinemas on 14th September.
