A new promo video for Queen’s Blade Unlimited unveils revamped character designs for seven of its scantily-clad heroines ahead of the OVA series’ 13 July Japanese launch.

Now under the aegis of animation studio Fortes, Queen’s Blade Unlimited not only sports new-look art but also reboots the anime side of Hobby Japan’s fanservice-filled multimedia franchise, turning the clock back nine years to the story’s origin. The series’ website says that the new anime will feature ‘18 beautiful warriors’ battling for the throne – here’s a round-up of those we’ve seen so far.
